Welcome to the home where “Life Grows Inside."
Hope Mansion exists to break the chain of generational poverty and hopelessness by providing women in crisis pregnancy a loving, structured, residential environment, as well as the necessary time, resources, and support for them and their babies to become productive, well-balanced citizens.
Hope Mansion uniquely addresses the despair and hopelessness of a woman in crisis. And it is here that she will find a safe place where she can decide what is best for her and her baby.
Sanctity of Life & the Impact of Prayer!
Where are the front lines in the battle for the sanctity of human life? Is it in Washington, D.C.? Or at our State Capitol in Austin?
Anyone watching both of these venues realizes that while political legislation is important, it will never be the ultimate answer. Getting closer to home, perhaps the front line is with pro-life organizations where hearts are touched every day. If we believe that, we are getting closer! But there is another place where the battle for life is even more intense. That place, of course, is on our knees.
In the midst of our busy lives, it is very easy to forget the incredible impact of prayer. What would it mean if each of us took a moment out of our day - perhaps at mealtime, getting in to the car after work, or during normal times of prayer - to pray for those facing crisis pregnancies, and for the safety of the babies they are carrying.
Here at Hope Mansion, we know what it means for our prayer warriors to be in prayer for our residents and for this ministry. A team comes each week to pray for our needs. They pray for salvation decisions to be made, for resources to be provided, and for God to send new residents. They pray for ministry vision, wisdom for our board, and for the babies.
There is also a wonderful opportunity to make a visible and public Stand 4 Life. On Saturday, January 18, you can join thousands of North Texans in Dallas - the city where Roe vs. Wade began - at the March for Life, which will be held at the KBH Convention Center. The March will mark the 41st anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's tragic decision of January 22, 1973, which brought the legislation of abortion in America. The events begin at 11:30 am in downtown Dallas.
Praying and marching for life will place us on the front lines in the battle for life!
